Just came back from my company cohesion at the cage where we played soccer and floorball and I am damn shagged, but in a satisfied kind of way.

I am actually on leave today but when I heard that they were going to play floorball, I decided to show up anyway. Haha. Played quite a satisfying game and we managed to make it all the way to the finals losing only through a penalty shootout after we drew on the scores at full time.

Yes I was forced to play soccer also. My team won the first match but we lost 2-1 during the second match. Guess who scored the only goal for my team? How surprising. Haha. Oh and soccer was a painful experience when the ball flew to my nose and glasses. Amazingly, my glasses didn't went out of shape that much. Thats the power of Dolce & Gabbana man. Heh. My nose still hurts through.

Oh yes, I finally bought a bag for my floorball stick. Now I don't have to carry my pink stick in public anymore. :)

I just finished watching "My Girl" on DVD. Thats the one released in 1991 starring Macaulay Culkin and Anna Chlumsky. That was my favorite show back when I was about 6 and I fondly remember watching it many times on my trusty old VCR. Back then, I didn't understand the themes of the movie and watched it purely for it's entertainment value. Watching it again now about 14 years later, the themes of death, friendship, love and relationships clearly resonated in the film. Even though it sounds damn gay, I have to admit that I couldn't help tearing while watching the movie. It brought me back to a time of my childhood innocence. A period where life was not complicated and life was free and without worries. Theres something magical in the purity of youth; something which I know is not possible to go back to but yet, a magical period which can be fondly recalled nonetheless. Go watch the show if you haven't had the chance to. Its a great watch.

as much as i acknowledge that there are some positive experiences while being in the army, its really being too much of a hassle and constant source of irritation. Can't wait to ORD man.
