over to,ee

yay. worked overtime yesterday scanning cards. haha. It was quite easy lah. The office was quite empty so we played guitar and did cartwheels during our 5-10 min breaks. Kekeke.

Overtime again today. Think we'll finish up those cards tonight. After that, I'm off to get my amp. Hahaha. I think I shall go off now before anyone discovers that I am blogging during work.

CDs are nice

Hey ho.

Havent been updating lately cause I've been rather busy with work and finding out about guitars and amps. Oh yeah, I intend to get an electric guitar and an amp. I'm thinking PRS Santana/Tremonti S.E or Epiphone Les Paul Standard with a marshall or ibanez amp.

As for those who are wondering about the title of the day, its cause I just bought CDs from Gramophone! Its some made in China Guns N' Roses's "Use Your Illusion" and Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai live in concert. Hahaha. It was an impulse buy I guess but the GNR cd was damn cheap. I was so amazed at the price that I asked the salesperson if it was indeed genuine to which she affirmed. Turns out the cheap price was due to it being made in China. Lol. Theres like Chinese words on the CD and there appears to be spelling mistakes in it e.g "Use Your Illrsion". Hahahha. Oh well, its original and it has great GNR tracks like November Rain and Don't Cry so I'm not complaining.

Man. Results are like coming out real soon. Scary shit.

Computer Hardware Joys And Woes

Currently, all the sucky graphics on my com are gone coz I've upgraded my graphics card! Leadtek 6600GT baby! The graphics looks superb esp on AOE 3. Fifa 06 finally runs smoothly too. Next stop? My RAM and DVD-RW. Wahahhaa. Thanks Greg for the computer serivce and all the vulgarities that came with it. heh

So after seeing Greg working on the CPU, my fingers HAD to turn itchy and I tried to install the DVD drive from my old CPU into my current one. Due to a lack of wires, I HAD to take it from the floppy disk drive. I booted it up just to see that it didn't work. On my second attempt, the com couldn't even switch on. Hahha. That was some scary shit. So I meddled around again and got it to start.

The end result? No DVD drive and a faulty floppy disk drive. Hahaha. Let this be a lesson learnt. Don't play around with your CPU unless you know what you are doing!

funky morning at Insead

Haha. I'm blogging in my office now since I came so early. Anyway Insead was a laugh just now. As I entered Insead, I noticed alot of people gathering at the entrance. To my amazement, there came a troop of funny angmos running in the most ridiculous get up. Ok. Think Elvis Presley, Newspaper man and Maui Tribal people. Hahaha. I wonder what the hell they are all up to but they sure did make me smile in the morning.

Getting my graphics card later. Can't wait! Leadtek 6600GT 256mb!
